You will play a key part in the booking, managing and completion of Pre-training Assessments, assessing student skill levels under the ACSF and then determining the best pathway for the student. Play a key role in the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.
Conduct and document initial client interviews and pre-training assessments ensuring all assessments are completed as per the Training and Assessment Strategy and Program requirements
Ensure all aspects of the program assessment and records administration meet the compliance requirements for ASQA and SEE contractual requirements
Record and maintain accurate client information in learners' portfolios/files and data systems
Demonstrate flexibility as to levels, student cohorts and the focus of delivery to maintain a student-centred approach
Experience working with diversity and disadvantaged learners
Strong planning, organisation and administration skills with the ability to attention to detail
Confident communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
Computer skills - Intermediate to Advanced Word, Excel, Access, Internet and Email
Qualifications:
Current Cert IV TAE (40116 or 40110 with LLN upgrade): and
Diploma or higher level qualification in Adult Education
Sound Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework and the VET sector
