This role will see you coordinating and managing the day-to-day facilities services across the company's portfolio and ensuring the effective delivery of maintenance, cleaning, security and other essential building services.
A deep understanding of the complexities of managing facilities in remote and community settings is essential - this includes navigating infrastructure limitations, coordinating trades and logistics over vast distances, working with local and regional suppliers, and adapting to community-specific needs.

Coordinate and oversee the delivery of facilities services including cleaning, security and other contracted services
Perform property and asset assessments and site inspections to ensure Facility related WH&S and other identified risks throughout the organisation are consulted and mitigated
Assist in the sourcing of new property locations and opening and closing of sites and site relocations
Maintain and manage a comprehensive Facilities Compliance Schedule for all preventative maintenance and compliance activities across the portfolio
In collaboration with the Facilities and Contracts Manager, manage and administer the facilities help desk system ensuring timely response and resolution to facilities related requests and issues
Monitor contractor performance against service level agreements and maintain quality standards
Maintain accurate records of all facilities service's activities, contracts, compliance documentation, budget tracking records and process facilities related invoices and assist in the development and implementation of facilities procedures and protocols
Experience in facilities or property management or similar field with demonstrated contractor management and service delivery oversight
Trade Background or relevant qualification in property/facilities management, WHS, or related business field
Ability to read and interpret commercial leases and manage service level agreements
Experience with processing invoices and financial record maintenance
Solid understanding of Australian Building Codes and relevant regulations and standards
Strong ability to coordinate multiple service providers and tasks simultaneously with the ability to be adaptable to changing priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focussed approach
Strong administrative and computer skills, particularly (Excel and Word) and proficiency in Facilities Management Software Systems
Fire Safety Advisor Certification (mandatory), General Safety Induction Card (white card) and WHS certification IV and First Aid Certification (preferred
