This role will see you coordinating daily operations, maintenance programs, contractor relationships as well as leading a small team of Facilities Officers.
This role is based in our Operational Support Centre in Eight Mile Plains will assist with delivery and management of national Capex projects.

Oversee facilities services and maintenance operations for the National Property Portfolio, ensuring compliance is strictly maintained and facility related matters are effectively managed to optimise the portfolio’s functionality
Lead and coordinate a small team of Facilities Officers, coordinating reactive repairs and maintenance including allocation of works, tracking progress, and providing updates to National Property and Facilities Manager and key stakeholders
Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to maximise asset lifecycle and minimise service disruptions
Manage the facilities help desk system, ensuring timely resolution of operational issues
Monitor and coordinate works associated with HVAC, electrical, and security systems
Coordinate cleaning, security, and maintenance services to maintain high facility standards
Coordinate and oversee essential service contractors, ensuring compliance with service level agreements
Review service provider contracts and monitor performance against KPIs
Experience in Commercial Facility Management of a National or Statewide Portfolio
Fit Out & Construction Project Management experience
Good Knowledge of architectural/drafting software package
Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to problem solve
Excellent knowledge of Essential Services & Building Systems and National Portfolio maintenance requirements
Excellent knowledge of Australian Building Codes and relevant regulations and standards
Experience in facility procurement and contract management
Strong ability to coordinate multiple service providers and tasks simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with staff, contractors, and suppliers
Strong customer service skills and client-focused approach Proficiency in Facilities Management Software Systems
