We are seeking an intuitive and experienced Senior HR professional to work with our experienced and agile team, based in Eight Mile Plains.   This is a true business partnering role and requires someone who is highly skilled in collaborating with others.

Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture, the ideal person would be able to support our leaders across the realm of HR services and provide advice regarding employee and industrial relation matters. They would also be someone who is confident with providing advice to senior managers and can take initiative to source solutions while being well supported by the wider HR team.

As a key member of the team, you will engage in collaborative efforts with a talented group of  professionals, contributing to the seamless integration of our business and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

 

  • Delivering a high level of support, management and professional advice to managers and team members in employee relations
  • Represent and provide high level advice and support on internal and external forums
  • Participate in implementation of HR objectives and systems, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements
  • Application of Fair Work Legislation and employee relations case management
  • Have experience in Enterprise Agreement bargaining and union relations.
  • Work collaboratively with an experienced and high performing HR team
  • Provide a high level of service to all stakeholders ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
  • Contribute to the development of programs across the wider HR function
  • Provide support and guidance around generalist Human Resources enquiries including performance management, complaints and HR processes in general
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and coaching to the HRBP team

 About You

 

  • Be a driven, supportive and community minded person, who wants to play a key role in supporting our teams
  • Able to manage stakeholder relationships with a focus on supporting employees 
  • Ability to speak with credibility and act with integrity
  • Knowledge of employment law and industrial relations
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or similar 
  • The ability to work collaboratively, build trust and manage competing demands
  • Ability to support the business to resolve employee relations matters
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people.
