About the opportunity 

Step into a rewarding leadership position and play a pivotal role in working with the business to determine process, software, and system requirements to meet strategic objectives. As a leader, this role drives innovation in technology, helping the business discover new ways to improve service delivery to clients.

• Provide leadership and strategic direction, working closely with the business to effectively deliver agreed-upon projects and operational activities while meeting business expectations and ensure seamless collaboration between IT Infrastructure, Service Desk and development teams.
• Develop and foster strong business relationships through proactive communication with internal stakeholders and external partners with the ability to provide understanding to a non technical audience and ability to communicate clearly in an articulate manner
• Solution Development and Project Management (agile preferred)
• Security, Risk and Compliance management – Manage solution risks and security requirements, escalating issues as necessary and developing both tactical and strategic remediation plans.
• Operational Management and team Development – Manage a team of highly skilled technical professionals and help them thrive

About you 

• Demonstrated technical and managerial experience in a complex Software Development or Technology environment

• Exceptional knowledge of software development and solutions delivery
• Proactive and hands-on leader with demonstrated experience working in a high-pressure, fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Ability to think outside the box to solve problems and deliver solutions.
• Strong communication skills and exceptional customer-centric focus.
• Manage multiple high priority initiatives in a fast paced, highly technical environment
• Strong focus on continual improvement with a desire to learn new technologies and new ways of working
• Degree in Management, business, Information Technology or relevant field.
• Project management skills or experience (Agile preferred).
• Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
• Australian Citizen or permanent resident.
