  • Part-time 3 days a week (Flexible start and finish times)

Oversee the day-to-day running of the commercial function and implement the commercial and financial strategy and direction, as provided by the Director of MAX Learning.

 

You will identify and implement systems, policies and processes which will improve financial monitoring, accountability, and continued growth across the business.

 

What will you be doing?

  • Quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting
  • End of month financial reporting across the separate entities
  • Attend and contribute to weekly revenue driver meetings
  • Facilitating and overseeing training Budgets & Projections
  • International Student Plans and balancing the Fee for Service Account
  • Setting up the payment plans for fee paying students
  • Domestic and International Broker Reports
  • Internal and external reporting
  • Trainer Assessment Reports
  • Internal reporting and scenario analysis as required
  • Working alongside operations staff to review and approve RTO spend

 

Does this describe you?

  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business management - CPA/CA preferred
  • Demonstrated experience as a Finance Manager / Finance Business Partner or proven experience in commercial accounting roles, ideally within an RTO environment
  • Business management experience, including an understanding of strategic financial management, ideally within an educational setting
  • Good communications skills with the ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experienced in strategic planning, coordination of resources and business analysis
  • Deep analytical capability and ability to apply strategic thinking to financial reporting and analysis
  • Excellent business acumen - experience in planning, implementing & managing effective organisation-wide processes, and demonstrated success in influencing business decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Xero and D365 preferred
  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
