Responsibilities

National Property and Facilities Manager 

 

This role will see you responsible for identifying office properties, leasing, fit out, furniture, signage, building services and maintenance requirements for new and existing locations as well as any property projects that need to be managed for MAX businesses.

 

This role is based at the National Operations Centre in Brisbane, but this could be flexible for the right candidate, with some travel required.

 

What will you be doing?

  •  Coordinating the sourcing of property and managing lease negotiations
  • Implementing renewals in line with direction and business needs
  • Design, document and project manage any facilities changes
  • Manage any Workplace Health and Safety issues through to resolution on facilities related matters
  • Managing and leading the Facilities team to deliver and perform
  • Communicating with all levels of the business on facilities related matters
  • Ensure the business maintains compliance with local Council requirements and State Government regulations
  • Maintain compliance with contractual requirements as they relate to facilities issues

 

About you

 

  • Commercial leasing, property management, project management, design, building trade and/ or relevant degree qualifications
  • Expert communicator & ability to work to tight timeframes 
  • Ability to make decisions in the best interests of the business  
  • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to problem solve 
  • Resilience, flexibility & high integrity
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Strong relationship management ability 
  • Good computer literacy including use of architectural/ drafting software packages 
  • Understanding of budgeting for projects
