We are looking for an Application Support Developer to support our Injurynet business for effective and efficient service delivery.

 

About Injurynet

 

Injurynet is part of MAX Solutions, and partners with organisations to deliver a range of innovative workplace medical services such as medical assessments, early intervention programs and medical advisory services. These services are all supported by our national independent network of medical practitioners, physiotherapists and psychologists, the largest of its kind in Australia.  

 

About the role

 

This role will be responsible for providing timely and quality information technology service delivery and assurance including:

  • The development and maintenance of Injurynet line of business applications and databases.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues to resolution and/or escalate to manager/supplier/vendor as required.
  • Modifying and developing the Injurynet internet website and associated applications
  • Documenting system development changes.
  • Documenting and providing systems design/architecture for new and existing systems.
  • Assisting in the support of end user software and applications including Server 2008-2016, Windows platforms, AD, Exchange, virtual environment (Microsoft Hyper V), security (anti-virus/SPAM software), remote access, MS Office suite (dedicated and hosted), telephony contact centre (Avaya), Storage/NAS, Micrsoft SQL Server and SAP. 
  • Assisting in the support of end user hardware including LAN, WAN, telephony, mobile devices, printers, web hosting, administration and security incidents.
  • From a systems and applications perspective ensure system and data security is maintained at a high standard.
  • Maintain continuity of IT support and in some instances after hours or remote support to Injurynet employees or clients
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across roles and teams within Injurynet
  • Continually improve service delivery for our business and our clients

About you

 

We want you if you:

  • Have at least 5 years of overall IT development experience
  • Have proven experience in .NET, VBA MS Access & SQL based products or equivalent.
  • Have the ability to complete IT service requests and incidents within agreed service levels with escalation of unresolved issues in a timely fashion.
  • Have experience with Windows server 2008, 2012 and 2016
  • Possess a strong knowledge of desktop hardware and software support (Windows 7, 8 and 10).
  • Have detailed experience with SQL scripting (stored procedures) and server management studio as well as IIS and web based technologies.
  • Know how to resolve complex issues and manage internal and external relationships to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Love continuously improving
  • Are a team player who can also work autonomously
  • Are a multi-tasker who manages your time and meets deadlines

Microsoft certifications, ITIL certification, and a tertiary degree in a technology related discipline will be viewed favourably.  If you are passionate about IT and IT systems development and wish to make a difference to a growing organisation then apply now.
