You will be required to engage with new and existing employer partners to promote and manage placement opportunities for identified customers as part of service delivery requirements.

 

The requirement to promote and maintain relationships with Community organisations, schools, and other external stakeholders is key to this position. This role is part of a national team delivering on our Community Partnerships Strategy to deliver caseload growth in our Disability Employment Services (DES) program and placement opportunities for existing MAX customers, as part of the MAX Disability Employment Initiative.

 

Responsibilities

  • Build new relationships and maintain existing partnerships with relevant community organisations, key employer partners and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop employer and community partnerships plans to identify growth opportunities aligning with the broader national strategy
  • Promote exclusive agreements (MOU) with key organisations in identified growth industries to develop program initiatives to support DES customers
  • Daily business development and community engagement duties include but are not limited to:
  • Attending relevant stakeholder forums such as the quarterly, Local Area Coordination meetings with Humanitarian Settlement providers and youth and migrant forums
  • Networking with community organisations, schools, local government and national and local employers to understand local labour market needs and promote MAX Solutions
  • Foster strong professional networks with referral agencies including community groups, employment services (including jobactive, DES and Transition to Work providers), migrant and refugee service providers
  • Track and analyse effectiveness of business development opportunities, completing regular reporting
  • Ensure agreed KPI’s are met and delivered on
  • Utilise relevant systems and processes as implemented by GM Employer Partnerships and meet relevant quality standards
  • Participate in Employer Business Centre (EBC) activities and processes (including MAX Connect utilisation)
  • Market MAX Solutions delivered programs/ initiatives to targeted audiences as directed by Disability Employment Initiative management team
  • Represent MAX Solutions to attract and engage key stakeholders by being an active member of local disability / employment networks, health and education services and business groups
  • Have a presence at employer functions, community groups and community events to ensure customers choose MAX as their service provider of choice
  • Ensure stakeholders are provided with exceptional service to ensure loyalty and ongoing relationships and retention
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, external service providers and community organisations to promote services including disability, employment, training and a range of services
  • Comply with all WHS procedures ensuring that team members including volunteers and contractors abide by all relevant health and safety procedures

Required Experience

 

  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Experience working with disadvantaged, diverse and vulnerable people
  • Experience in Employment Services and/or Disability Services
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation including Anti-discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity, Workplace Health and Safety, Privacy and Freedom of Information
  • Genuine passion to assist others to build opportunities through education and employment.

 

Qualifications/Requirements - Mandatory

 

  • We adhere to the National Principles for Child Safety and require all team members to be committed to child safety and wellbeing. Our induction and training will provide you with an understanding of these principles, including having an understanding of children’s developmental needs and culturally safe practices
  • Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.

 

Qualifications/Requirements – Preferred but not essential

 

  • Current Driver’s Licence.
