    Overview

    The purpose of the Placement Consultant role CST is to ensure efficient and effective delivery of Employment Support services to registered participants of the jobactive Provider.  This position provides over the phone support to review and assist in job search efforts and increase connectivity and opportunities to vacancies utilising the technology and systems available. This role will be required to focus on a specific operation that will be imperative to a positive interaction with MAX Employment and job search efforts.  This position will foster positive relationship with our operational Sites, Employer Business Centres and other partners within the business structure.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage a Caseload by conducting phone contact appoints. The caseload will be sorted by Region and/or State:
    • Conduct monthly phone interviews with eligible jobs eekers within the operation phase appointed.
    • At initial phone contact, explain phone contact services and job seeker expectations.
    • Engage and review job searching including discussing any job interviews or job trials.
    • Engage and review  job seeker is participating in any WFD requirements
    • Ensure job seeker is linked to MAX Connect  and using MAX Connect as part of their job searching regime
    • Ensure job seeker “job person fit” is completed and up to date.
    • Identify suitable job referrals using MAX Connect and other web sites
    • Ensure job seeker has an up to date and marketable Resume
    • Make future appointment (phone or face to face)
    • Ensure job seeker is given information on their WFD requirements one month before.
    • Ensure attendance management requirements are adhered to
    • Ensure all KPIs are met
    • Ensure that client file case notes and all other documentation are relevant, and in line with the minimum contractual standards
    • Conduct administrative activities consistent with Employment Services contractual and legislative requirements, and MAX Network philosophy and quality standards

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    Required Experience

    • Knowledge of relevant legislation including Anti-discrimination
    • Demonstrate experience with Equal Employment Opportunity
    • Previous experience  with Occupational Health and Safety
    • Ability to adhere to Privacy and Freedom of Information is a must
    • Business development and account management



    Qualifications

    • Experience in a similar role is desired
