    Overview

    The purpose of this role is to deliver high level organisational effectiveness and manage the supply and demand of learning. Driving manager effectiveness at ensuring learning transfer and application is key. The role is both strategic and operational and the incumbent shall work closely other HR Leads, members of the L&OD team and various Health and Operational Managers to ensure high quality, consistent outcomes are achieved.

    Responsibilities

     

     Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the L&D Partners in the performance of their roles, ensuring learning program effectiveness and transfer of knowledge is measured, reporting back to the business on activities
    • Utilise customer-centric design to deliver a diverse range of people solutions that build a high performance, customer-centric culture
    • Improve manager understanding of effective onboarding and the value of a learning culture
    • Identify areas for organisational improvement, and design and implement systems and processes that enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation
    • Support the organisation in a range of development tasks around cultural change, change management, succession planning, talent management and performance management
    • Drive organizational performance by embedding competencies
    • Act as a change champion to support the cultural transformation program
    • Manage the provision of risk of harm assessment training across the organisation, ensuring ethical delivery of facilitation, providing leadership coaching as required
    • Facilitate organisational and health related learning programs internally where appropriate
    • Work with the Senior Safety Business Partner and other key stakeholders to manage organisational responses to incidents and critical incidents
    • Work closely with the HR Business Partners and consult with key stakeholders across the organisation to determine learning needs or organisational risk areas and organise relevant interventions to build capability and embed in day-to-day service practice
    • Partner with internal Communications Team and subject matter experts to achieve desired outcomes
    • Work with others in L&OD to develop tools, assessments, online learning activities and projects
    • Maintain professional registration and engage in continuing professional development as required by relevant registration body (if required)
    • Comply with all WHS procedures ensuring that team members including volunteers and contractors abide by all relevant health and safety procedures
    • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours and report all accidents, incidents or near misses

    Required Experience

     

    • Team leadership experience across multiple locations
    • 5 years previous experience in a similar environment and role
    • Experience managing multiple priorities and projects in a busy environment.

    Qualifications/Requirements - Mandatory

     

    • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Organisational Development, Human Resources (Mandatory)
    • Certificate IV in TAE (preferred)
    • Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
