    Overview

    The purpose of this role is to develop, lead or participate in a wide range of organisational development initiatives that support managers, team members and teams across the organisation to build their capability and capacity in a customer centric environment. The role will also be responsible for the establishment and embedding of effective leadership development strategies.

    Responsibilities

     

    Key Responsibilities

     

    • Utilise customer-centric design to deliver a diverse range of people solutions that build a high performance, customer-centric culture
    • Identify learning needs and solutions to support cultural change and build coaching and leadership capability within the organisation
    • Partner with the business to understand design requirements for leadership development curriculum and structuring content that builds desired capabilities over time
    • Design and develop leadership content, including tools and team development, assessment and online learning activities
    • Facilitate leadership programmes internally
    • Act as a performance and capability Coach, collaborating with the leaders/Coachees to identify, target, and plan for improvement
    • Contribute to the design, delivery and evaluation of organisational development and learning solutions  encompassing areas such as career pathways, transition to leadership and mentoring
    • Contribute to the design, development and evaluation of strategies and resources to support the implementation of succession and talent management initiatives
    • Act as a change champion to support the cultural transformation program
    • Participate in the development of policies and procedures and prepare related toolkits and education packages and deliver communication and training for its successful take-up
    • Work closely with the HR Business Partners and consult with key stakeholders across the organisation to determine learning needs or organisational risk areas and organise relevant interventions to build capability and embed in day-to-day service practice
    • Partner with internal Communications Team and subject matter experts to achieve desired outcomes
    • Support the organisation in a range of development tasks around cultural change, change management, talent management, employee engagement, performance management, career planning and development
    • Support and initiate surveys, diagnostic assessments and 360 degree feedback as applicable
    • Identify areas for improvement and design, and implement systems and processes that enhance the efficiency of L&OD
    • A willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position
    • Comply with all WHS procedures ensuring that team members including volunteers and contractors abide by all relevant health and safety procedures
    • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours and report all accidents, incidents or near misses immediately.

    • Proficiency in MS office applications and on line learning programs
    • Knowledge of and the ability to apply adult learning principles
    • Proven interpersonal and influencing skills and a strong client service approach to develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers, team members and other key stakeholders
    • High level problem solving skills
    • A knowledge and understanding of coaching skills with an ability to facilitate the enhancement of work performance, life experience, self-directed learning and process growth of the Coachee
    • Excellent project delivery experience and the capability to work in a project setting
    • Demonstrated ability to monitor work progress and identify risks, and work effectively under pressure as part of a team.

     

    Required Experience

     

    • Demonstrated 5 years’ expertise in coaching and facilitation of individuals and teams to improve leadership capability and performance
    • Proven experience in the development, implementation and assessment of 360 degree assessments
    • Experience in organisational development and achievements in a range of organisational development projects from conception to completion
    • Familiarity with organisational transformation projects, specifically with experience in organisational culture and design
    • Demonstrated leadership related content development ability
    • Demonstrated experience in best practice, capability development approaches and the ability to utilise range of techniques to increase confidence, skills and knowledge.

     

    Qualifications/Requirements - Mandatory

     

    • A tertiary qualification in Change Management, Coaching, Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development or General Business Management or related field and/or commensurate demonstrated experience in lieu of formal qualifications
    • Hold or have the ability to obtain a current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check

     

    Qualifications/Requirements – Preferred but not essential

     

    • 5 years’ previous leadership experience
    • Current Driver’s License.
