This is a contract role that delivers Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Counselling to clients of MAX Solutions. EAP counselling is intended to be short term, voluntary, confidential counselling. Most of the time it is delivered in person, but telephone counselling is an option too.
The contract EAP Counsellor will provide services from their own rooms based in the Sydney CBD area and manage their own appointments. Ideally, some appointments should be available outside of usual business hours and offices should have easy parking OR be easily reached by public transport.
An initial appointment should be offered to the client within two working days of them first making contact. If the offered time is not convenient for the client, a mutually agreeable time may be offered.
