The Customer Service Officer is responsible for providing efficient administrative and customer service support contributing to the effective operation of the Smart Skilled and Hired Youth Employment Program.

 

Responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties in an office setting, incumbents will be required to perform diverse activities listed under Key Responsibilities during the course of their employment.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Handle initial enquiries regarding Smart Skilled and Hired, confirm Participants eligibility, book CAT assessments
  • Meeting and greeting Participants and Clients
  • Assisting staff with key administration tasks including collection of claims evidence
  • Undertake financial tasks as directed and in accordance with Smart Skilled and Hired contracture requirements
  • Ensuring all KPI’s are met including targets, outcomes, claims and all service requirements as stipulated by MAX Solutions 
  • Conducting administrative activities consistent with relevant contractual and legislative requirements and MAX Solution philosophy and quality standards
  • Maintaining record systems, including Departmental database
  • Providing administrative support to Smart Skilled and Hired staff
  • Participating in professional development and training as required
  • Involvement and Participation in team meetings and functions as required
  • Greeting and assisting participants and clients in a professional manner as per MAX Solutions quality standards
  • Reception duties including professionally answering incoming calls
  • Other duties as directed
  • Comply with all WHS procedures ensuring that team members including volunteers and contractors abide by all relevant health and safety procedures
  • Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours and report all accidents, incidents or near misses immediately.

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

Required Experience

 

  • Previous industry experience working with youth is highly desirable
  • Proven experience with strategic thinking and solutions focused
  • Demonstrated experience building rapport with internal and external stakeholders


Qualifications

 

  • Completion of Certificate III in Business Administration (Office Administration) or equivalent
  • Must have current driving licence
  • Have current WWCC.
