Overview

The Senior Recruitment Consultant is responsible for attracting candidates and matching them to suitable roles.   The Senior Recruitment Consultant is required to build positive, professional relationships with key stakeholders in the business and to source the most appropriate candidates using appropriate sourcing tools and strategies.A good understanding of the work culture and environment of the client base is essential

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Senior Recruitment Consultant include

  • Developing a good understanding of client requirements, what they do and their work culture and environment
  • Advertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media, for example newspapers, and websites
  • Utilising social media to advertise positions attract candidates and build relationships with candidates and clients
  • Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
  • Using the candidate database to match the right person to the client's vacancy
  • Reviewing applications, managing interviews and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
  • Completing references and the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the client
  • Briefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the job in question
  • Preparing correspondence to forward to clients in respect of suitable applicants
  • Organising interviews for candidates as requested by the client
  • Informing external candidates of the results of interview
  • Working towards and exceeding targets that relate to the number of candidates placed
  • Liaising with internal/ external clients
  • Working under limited supervision using a high level of initiative to resolve issues
  • Promoting MAX Employment services and maintaining a high profile and professional company image
  • Participating in professional development and training as required
  • Involvement and participation in MAX Employment meetings and functions as required
  • Undertake the full range of staff recruitment and selection processes within agreed timeframes
  • Including advice and support to Business Management
  • Drafting and placing advertisements, drafting interview questions, coordinating candidate information and interview information
  • Conducting reference checks
  • Constructing of Letter of Offers
  • Support the onboarding process of the new hire into the business

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

Required Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar level position
  • Must have a minimum of five years recruitment experience
  • Advanced administration skills including the ability to maintain adherence to policies, systems and procedures


Qualifications

  • A tertiary qualification in Business- Human Resource Management is desirable
